Composer, artist, writer & filmmaker John Holland was born in Amherst, MA in the early 60's. He grew up influenced by Pink Floyd and the Beatles and by a love of movies and the art of movie making. A master of piano, guitar and drums, he has composed and recorded hundreds of songs. After experimentation in various pills and herbs, attending college, living as a monk and on a commune, he returned to college at Emerson in Boston, MA and earned a BFA in film while at the same time completing the award winning independent short, "The Highest Degree of Difficulty". Soon after, he made a stab at success in the dog eat dog town of Los Angeles, CA where he met his future wife. A traveler of the world, having visited and lived in Japan, Europe & many of the American states, John moved to Nice, France with her and they eventually had a child together. They all live happily & peacefully surrounded by the happiness that family life brings.
